Early life in Colorado...Move in day! Saying goodbye to Steve Imig. Mommy and daddy's 11 year anniversary.

This is the reservoir in the front of our house.  We can walk literally across the street and up a little hill and we are there!  It is SOOO fun.  We go all the time and I LOVE looking up at the trees and listening to the wind going through the trees.
This is Move-In-Day at our new house we are renting in Lafayette, Colorado.  I am really excited.

This is me hanging with the guys as the movers are coming in and don't ask me but I have NO idea what my dad is doing to Steve.  He sure looks tough! (Mom says it's because he used to teach so many little kids all at one.)

This is going to be my ROOM!  But it doesn't look too good yet...
Here is the moving truck with all our stuff from our house in Evanston as well as Grandma's stuff from Glen Ellyn.  BIG truck, huh?

This was a sad time because Steve was leaving and going back to Illinois.  We don't know what we would have done without him.  We had a great time with him and we will miss him.  He is going to come back really soon to visit though and I am really looking forward to that!

This is me with mommy and daddy on their 11 year anniversary.  They went to the SAME restaurant for dinner they went to 11 years ago on their honeymoon.  It's a rooftop Mexican restaurant with a great view of the mountains and specifically Longs Peak.  They told me how happy they were to be there with me and how they never would have imagined 11 years before they would now finally live in Colorado and live an hour away from their favorite place of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.  I had a great time with them.  And mommy even had a beer (I guess that's a big deal??)!  The restaurant found out it was their anniversary and they had been there before on their honeymoon and they bought mommy and daddy drinks to celebrate.

Estes Park -while waiting for our stuff to arrive

I'm a STRAWBERRY in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park!
This is at mommy's favorite restaurant, Trailhead Restaurant.  It is right next to the north entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and across the street from where mommy and daddy have camped.  It is my first time here.  I didn't get to eat anything but I know we will be back when I can in the future!

While we were eating we saw three deer.  Mommy said something about the Three Brothers, but I have no idea what she is talking about....

Later as we were leaving we saw some beautiful elk by Moraine Park.  Here is one of them.
