Some Classic Shots

I have a very expressive face and my parents wanted everyone to see some of the fun faces I make :)

Jon and Teresa Visit

My Uncle Jon and Aunt Teresa came out and visited in September.  I had a great time with them too.  We showed them Estes Park but we had to drive a LONG ways because of all of the flooding and road closures.  But we made it!

Grandma and Grandpa Talmadge Visit

I've had lots of visitors come and see me in my new home on Colorado.  Grandma and Grandpa Talmadge came to visit in July.  It was great to meet them for the first time.  I'm pretty lucky because they are coming back in the beginning of November too :)

Almost 6 months old

I'm 10 days away from being 6 months old. I got some nice new toys from a friend down the street. I'm also big enough to ride in the bob stroller without my car seat. Daddy and I went for a walk around the lake this morning. It is getting cooler so I wore a great hat that Mommy and Daddy's friend Cindy made for me :).  Oh, yeah. One more thing. I start swimming lessons tomorrow. I'll send pictures soon :).

303 Kenilworth Going Away Party

I am all dolled up for our going away party held at Auntie Mary's house....it had so many of my mom's friends and special people she has grown up with.  My grandma Ballantine was also supposed to be there but she was too sick to come.  All of Grandma Ballantine's dog friends came to the party as well, which was really special since she couldn't be there.
This is Cocoa...she got dressed up for the party too.  Her brother Max couldn't come.  My Grandma Ballantine has spent a lot of time taking care of Max and Cocoa.  She loves them and their family.

Being a hostess at a party is really tiring.  It's really important to mix with everyone but I am only 6 weeks and it can wear me out!
                                                     Max and Cocoa's mommy....Mary
My very good friend, grandma Irene.  Mommy says Irene was one of her 4-H mommies. Irene remembers my mom from when she was little, like 8 years old.  Her daughter and mommy grew up together in 4-H.
My friends....Tony, Larry, Jim, Joann and Mary
Here is Auntie Jenny and I spending some good quality time together.
                                                    Grandma Irene and Uncle Larry
Daddy!  I am tired!  I can't walk around and host all day!
Resting with daddy, mommy and Auntie Jenny
My friend Jeanie and I...she is so fun!
Tony and I....he is a wonderful friend.
                                                                   Uncle Larry and I
This is my special froggie Uncle Larry gave to me.  It is Uncle Larry I am looking at in this picture.  I really like my froggie.
We all had such a great time at the party.  Auntie Mary did a wonderful job and I loved being with all my wonderful friends.

Jim and Joann brought such lovely pastries and desserts for
the party.  They were so generous with the food they brought.  I really appreciate it and feel so blessed to have so many great friends.
This is Sharon Harter and Grandma Marj.  Sharon Harter is one of my Grandma Ballantine's great friends.  Her house is the original Land of Narnia mommy says.  The Harters foster American Eskimo dogs and Grandma Ballantine has helped to take care of many of their dogs and kitties too!  They are a special family and I am so happy they could come to the party.
More friends from the neighborhood.  Of course, Grandma Gerry and my friend Mary Ann who has a pugle and a beagle.  She gave us a wonderful book all about Glen Ellyn and it's history so mommy and I would never forget where we started. Grandma Gerry gave us a beautiful picture of the horse trough which is a historical and important part of Glen Ellyn.

The party was just amazing with special people, wonderful food, and a lot of laughter and happiness.  Thank you so much for the wonderful party.  I had a blast!

This is after the BBQ with Uncle Kevin....he really wore me out!

This is at my mommy's 6 week follow up at the doctor.  Dr Cislak and Anne Marie took great care of me while I was in mommy's tummy!
