My new backpack
Mom and Dad got me a new backpack so we can go on hikes in the mountains together. I've been on 3 hikes in the Flatirons so far and will probably do some more hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park over Labor Day Weekend. It's so nice it even has a nice soft place for me to lay my head if I fall asleep.
Eating with Dad
After Dad warmed up my milk this afternoon I decided I wanted to hold it by myself. I'm getting stronger every day!

This is my auntie megs and I...daddy went to Colorado for less than 24 hours to look at our new house and Auntie Megs and mommy and I had girls day out....we went for morning coffee and brunch, for a walk, to the store, I and hung out at the house...ANDDDDDDD.....
I baptized Auntie Megs when I spit up and had an accident (;) ) on her....all over her pretty black dress.... it was pretty funny, to me, maybe not to her. But I know she loves me anyway!
This is daddy and I at one of our summer bbqs in grandma's backyard. Mommy said she grew up doing stuff like this. I am starting young and right she says. I just like the trees and all the people who I listen to talking and eating and laughing.
This is me listening to daddy tell some stories in my special chair that Jasmine and Warren got me. I love my chair because it lets me be everywhere with my friends and family.
Uncle Larry, Amy, Auntie Mary, Mr Steve Imig, daddy and me (mommy is taking the picture)
This is me listening to daddy tell a story....I am growing up enough to really enjoy listening to all this conversation...
Boy! It's a long of work throwing parties and bbqs!
This is my wonderful duckie robe from Auntie Mary - I love it 'cause it is soft and warm when I get done taking a bath!
After the bath...I am tired
This is the beginning of my first ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine trip. This is in Indianapolis. This is the week I really started to grow up and mature. Daddy no longer had to walk me around in the moby to get me to go to sleep and I started following and tracking my parents with my eyes and also smiling at them. It was a lot of development really fast and it was fun to watch how excited my parents got as I learned all these new things.
This is really special. This is my first time meeting my good friend Carrie. I haven't met her daughters yet but I share my name with one of them. My friend Carrie's daughter's name is Grace and that's my middle name. Mommy said she asked if she could share this name with Grace Jaworski and Grace said YES! I am happy because I love my full name, Chloe Grace Talmadge.
We went out to dinner with Carrie and she bounced me to sleep and to this day mommy and daddy call this up and down bouncing move "the Carrie dance!"
Going out to dinner and meeting people and following mommy around ACSM really wears you out!
While mommy is busy, daddy and I go all sorts of places eating and hanging out with friends. It's so fun! Next year Orlando!
This is my friend Poonam. I had a great time hanging out with her. She has lots of animals I would like to meet sometime! Mommy says I would really like her bunnies because they are like my room that has Peter Rabbit all over it!
This is my friend Farah. I look like I am upset but what you don't realize is it is really hard to run around to all these dinners and events so I was tired. Farah was nice enough to put me to sleep 'cause I was so tired. She bounced and held me until I went to sleep to take a nap.. Below is Cindy and Farah, me and my mom. Cindy and Farah were some of mommy's sports medicine fellows. They are really cool. Cindy is in Singapore and Farah is in New York. I have friends already all over the world! I feel really blessed! I look forward to seeing them every year at ACSM.

This is mommy and me in front of our house we had just sold before I was born. I stayed in this house for 2 nights. I am grateful to have had such a nice house to come home to and mommy and daddy said they really enjoyed there first home as well.
This is daddy and me in front of the house he worked so hard to stage and help sell so we could move to Colorado together as a family!
This is us loading up grandma's van to drive to grandma's house where we were going to stay until we moved to Colorado.
This is the beginning of mommy's wildflower garden she started in Evanston. She took me around and showed me what all the beginning flowers were going to be. We are going to build our own in Colorado (that's what mommy says).

Getting ready for my first road trip to visit Grandpa Ballantine and Great-Grandma Blair!
Meeting Grandpa Ballantine for the time!
Three generations of Ballantine! When Grandpa Ballantine was younger in the War (WWII) he had the same curly hair that mommy has....do you think I will have curly hair?
Out to lunch with Grandpa Ballantine, daddy, and mommy! Hmmmm, it tastes good!
Hi Grandpa...I love you!
This is Grandpa and me at the Lake together....Lake Michigan that is on the Michigan side.
I love spending time with my Grandpa...he is good at putting me to sleep. It is so relaxing here!
Pretty picture of the lake we took while we all sat and relaxed.
All of us together with my special baesball teddy bear given to me by the Adams so I wouldn't forget where I came from...my Grandpa Ballantine played baseball for the Detriot Tigers and when they were the Boston Braves.
Grandpa, Daddy and I with my special teddy bear.
You like my shirt?! I do!
Mommy, Grandpa and I...Boy am I tired from my day!
Me and the boys!
I had a great time with my Grandpa and am looking forward to my next trip to see him...but now onto Great-Grandma Blair's!
