Grabbing things

I just learned to grab things on my play mat yesterday when Grandma and Grandpa Talmadge were here. Only problem is I forgot to let go of the rings when I fell asleep today. 

Well it was the 6th time I rolled over without issue today, but my Dad finally caught it on video.  Now I need to figure out how to roll back onto my back.  Then crawling...

Mother's Day

 Happy Mother's Day at Grandma Marj's and Auntie Megs house!  We had a great lunch!

The Moby goes EVERYWHERE with us and daddy is always standing and bouncing!  (I think it is funny 'cause I make him do so much work.  I don't really need all this bouncing but I like watching him bounce!)

 Hey, wait a minute!  There's a kitty under that blanket that Daddy just sat on!

Oh Daddy, I love to wear pink with you.  Thanks Daddy, you look pretty!  Can I say that about you?

 I am so thrilled with this picture.  I want to eat, I want to eat.  Enough of this picture taking junk!

                            OK, this is getting better.  Just us girls.  But....I still want to eat. 

 I am cuddling with Auntie Mary again.  I love to cuddle with her.  It's so great. 

 Daddy says this is a classic picture.  Gadgie is kissing me and Grandma B is kissing Gadget and mommy is kissing Grandma B, a classic picture of craziness :)

 All of us girls together at Mother's Day at Grandma's rehab place.  I love my pink dress.  My Grandma B is very insistent on pink with ruffles.  I like them a lot too!

 Daddy, I am happy to show everyone that I like to stand and walk but I am getting tired and hungry again and would very much like to eat and nap.  In that EXACT order please. 

 This is the end of our first Mother's Day together and I have eaten and slept and I feel good.  This is special mommy and me time. 

This is my pretty blanket given to me by Mrs. Mary Pippen.  It's pink and matches my dress.  The Pippens have helped me with my Peter Rabbit collection AND my girl clothes collection, which I really needed since my parents just got all this gender neutral stuff.  Thank you to Mary and Jenny Pippen and the Jaworski girls for all my beautiful GIRL clothes!

On the day I was born, my parents were super happy.  I was delivered at 5:56 pm and weighed 9.1 lbs and was 21 inches.  I fed right away and continued to be a good feeder throughout my hospital stay.

Hello, my call name may be Little Bear but some people just call me Cheeks.  And no, that is NOT my Italian mob name!

I already have my daddy walking the streets.  This is how I go to sleep.  When it rains, my daddy puts on a jacket and walks the streets too.  Between you and me, the neighbors think he is pregnant.  Or at least that's how it looks! 

I am a blankie girl already!  I LOVE THEM!

My dad and I have a lot to talk about.  I have catching up to do with him since for 40+ weeks all I got to hear was mommy talking ALLLL day to patients, at work and then at home.  I talked to her by thanking her for food and stuff with little kicks.  So dad and I have some catching up to do. ( I talk to mom too.)

One of my first GIRL outfits from Cousin E and Auntie Jess!  I love it and it will be perfect for Colorado when mommy takes me out to look at the wildflowers!  Thank you!

Cuddling with my Auntie Mary.  It's one of my favorite things to do.  I love to be cuddled.

Hanging out with my Grandma Ballantine.  When I could,I would go over to see her and spend time with her.  When she gets to see me, it makes her so happy.  I wish she would get better so I could play with her more because mommy says she has been waiting for me for a long time.

This is good friend Melissa.  She was one of the first people to come visit me in Evanston.  She is one of my mom and dad's good friends and I am looking forward to a long friendship with her as well!
