Last night on 303 Kenilworth and last day on 303 Kenilworth

Spending time with Grandma Marj around the wonderful Christmas Pine tree in Grandma Ballantine's back yard.  Mommy said she used to climb in this tree when she was younger and read books while the birds fluttered in and out of the tree.  That's sounds like a lot of fun because I already love trees and the sound of the wind!

Grandma Marj made sure I was cozy and daddy made a fire and our friends surrounded us to send off 303 Kenilworth....Tony and Irene Meers, Grandma Marj, Mary Lynn, daddy, mommy, Grandma Ballantine and ME!

This is the wall where mommy kept track of how tall he was growing in her daddy's workshop.
Last day of spending time in the backyard of 303 Kenilworth.  Mommy and Auntie Mary tell me about endless times in this backyard.  Today I am thankful to share and spend time out there.  Many special things happened on this day.  The animals all came out to see us off.  The cardinals and then one really special blue jay, who spent the while day with us.  Above you can see Mary Lynn and our wonderful family friend Bhavani.  Mommy says Bhavani is really awesome and a really good role model for me.  That sounds great but I just know right now she is a great friend and spent the day with us sending us off.  She is a forever friend.

We memorialized the day by doing my footprints for the memory box.  Daddy wouldn't let me do my hands because he was worried I would suck on my hands and fingers and ingest some of the ink.  So you just get to see my feet!

This is our good family friend Mary.  My grandma is what they call a Dog Whisperer and Mary has a dog Max that my grandma Ballantine worked with and took care of and really helped.  Max has a sister Cocoa who is really cute. The only problem is they are both two fast for me to catch to pet!  I am looking forward to Mary's family visits out to Colorado to see us!

Me and Bhavani hanging up, like we will for years to come!

The moving truck with alllll our stuff!
Mr Bunny in the yard... actually it's our Peter Rabbit!

I sure love my Auntie Mary

Mommy says these rose bushes are really important because when she was a little girl Grandma Ballantine took pictures of her in front of these rose bushes...I'm glad I could do it too!

This is the side yard at Jim and Joann's house.  It is here mommy played with and watched over CrackerJack, Mickey, and Sundancer.  She tells me she used to love to sit in the yard and play with the dog and read.  Here I am with Sundancer.  I wish I could have met Cracker Jack and Mickey!

I'm having a great time going around the neighborhood!I can see why mommy loved it here so much!
This is Grandma Gerry again...she and grandma Ballantine have lived on this street the longest.

This is in Auntie's Mary special reading room.  I love sitting in this chair.  I am getting tired from all this!  (Can you see I got some sun today???  Oppss!)
Me with Mr Froggie and the Wind and the Willows

I'm tired from everything today.  Saying "Until We Meet Again" at Uncle Larry's

Tough goodbyes are always hard, so mommy added a little humor!
An empty house for a new beginning...36 years of memories

Final goodbyes on the stoop of the place where mommy grew up.  Time to start a new chapter.

Saying goodbye to Northwestern

This is my special friend... Emily Allard and believe it or not, she came to visit me in Colorado and was my first house guest right after we moved to Colorado!  This is us just before we moved!

Good friends from Northwestern who watched me grow in my mom's tummy! Above, my friend Lauren Ackerman who saw me jump in mommy's tummy one time!  And below Sara and Emily Bruhl, a wonderful family of special girls my mommy used to take care of.

This is my special friend, Fallon.  Mommy says she is amazing and I should learn from her example.  I just know she is really nice and her family is really nice too!

This is my VERY special friend, Jen.  She actually with our other friend Danielle was with mommy out for girls night when I was REALLLLLY little in mommy's tummy.  She is so neat and really knows how to play with me and put me to sleep.  I sure hope she comes to visit me in Colorado.

This is the Mele family and mommy says they have family in Utah so they will come see us in Colorado.  I am looking forward to it because they are FUN, FUN!!!

This is my really special friend Michelle.  She came to visit me when I was ONE day old in the hospital and she is going to have a little girl so I can play with her when I come home to visit Chicago.  Mommy says Michelle is really awesome and is a good friend to her.  I can tell because she is so nice and has such a beautiful smile.

This is my friend Karin.  Mommy says she and her husband are really cool and they have this really neat dog.  I hope that I can meet their puppy sometime when I come to visit because I love doggies!  Karin also watched me grow in mommy's tummy!

This was a really neat and special going away party with a lot of my really good friends from Northwestern Athletic Department Sports Medicine.  Above is me with Melissa, who I am going to go to the ballet with.  And then my friend Jen again.  See isn't she good with me???

These are my two friends Robbie and Laura and they are having a baby too that will be around my age.  I will look forward to meeting their baby so I have yet another friend to play with in Chicago when I come to visit!

I am going to miss my Northwestern friends as they supported mommy and daddy through my growth and were some of the first people to greet me and support my parents and me.  I really appreciate them and will never forget them.
